Daily Wisdom

Mat 8:10 ‘When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.’

When Jesus spoke these words concerning the centurion officer, they resonated from the simplicity of the officers’ faith in Jesus. Jesus goes on to state (vs 12) that many of the religious Jews who should be in the Kingdom would be excluded because of their lack of faith; being entrenched in their religious traditions, they couldn’t accept Christ and his words alone.

The strength of our faith lies solely in who and what Jesus is. Don’t weaken your faith with feelings and thoughts of self-wisdom, wishes or pride. Simplicity of faith is the ability to apply the truth of God’s Word over your thoughts and feelings, despite your circumstances or desires.

Success resonates from faith in a hope (Jesus) greater than the world or self, which creates passion and purpose in Jesus Christ… HSAY
