Isa 7:13 “…Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but
will ye weary my God also?”
Nothing is more grievous to God than man’s distrust in His
power and sovereignty (Mal 2:17). King
Ahaz was hesitant to seek a sign from God concerning His promised protection
against Syria, claiming he didn’t won’t to tempt the Lord. It’s one thing to
weary (burden) man with doubt, but don’t confuse or disguise your lack of faith
in God under the pretense of being a burden to Him. It’s not man’s request that
weary the Lord, it’s his asking amiss (Jm 4:3) with the wrong motive or in
doubt. The only danger or sin in challenging God is when we don’t involve our faith!
Are you willing to be All-In with God? He’s not afraid of a fight, if you’re
not afraid to live in your faith. Ask David and Goliath… HSAY
