16:33 “… I have overcome the world.”
The scriptures tell us “rain falls on the just and the
unjust.” Even with faith we encounter difficulties but just because we experience
a defeat does not mean we’re defeated. If we’ve grown our faith through the battle,
then we didn’t lose. Do not, for a second, believe you’re defeated. Lift-up
your eyes, you’re a child of the King who has overcome the world and conquered
death. The Father will never lead us to a battle He hasn’t given us victory
over.
We’re not defeated by our enemies, but by losing hope and
faith in the work Jesus… HSAY
