Isa 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades: but the
word of our God shall stand forever.”
God’s Word is perfect, tried and a shield for those who
stand behind it and trust in it to sustain them (2 Sam 22:31). So much so, that
bread is the second cause; the words of the Lord Himself is the first (Mt 4:4).
In comparison, as people are cautious in always searching and staying connected
to Wi-Fi, should be the same way they want to be connected to God spiritually. God’s Word is our ultimate connectivity and hotspot
to assure that we’re in the know. It makes everything easy, effortless, faster
and it comes in bundles of hope, joy and peace.
Lord, help me to see the supremacy of your Word over
everything else in the world… HSAY
