2 Tim 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Timothy found himself in great opposition to his message,
leadership, youth and association with Paul, but was still urged to be bold. A passive,
intimidated faith neutralizes our effectiveness for the Lord. The Spirit within
us is vibrant and victorious. God has given us power, love and a sound mind.
Therefore, we can walk unafraid, live unafraid, and can be unafraid in holding
to our faith.
We’re more flawed and sinful than we can believe, yet at the
same moment we are more loved, accepted and empowered in Jesus than we can hope…
