1 Tim 1:2 “Unto Timothy my own son in the faith:
Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ.”
Grace grants us what we don’t deserve, Mercy
delivers us from what we do deserve, and Peace provides us what we can’t
produce. Meaning one will not obtain the peace of God without finding the grace
and mercy of salvation. God’s grace is immeasurable, His mercy is
inexhaustible, His peace is inexpressible. Wallowing in guilt, remorse, or
shame over our past only produces disdain in God’s gift of grace and mercy and
robs us of our peace in Jesus.
In the midst of our failed attempts in loving Jesus, His
grace provides mercy so we can still find peace… HSAY
