Isa 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against thee
shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou
shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
Isaiah speaks to God’s covenant of peace for His children.
Man’s attack with weapons and words will not prosper long. The righteousness of
God will deliver the just man from both the physical and spiritual attacks. Man’s
greatest form of attack is judgement from the tongue, as if they possess a
dominion or spiritual authority over another and falsely accuse or misrepresent
(Ezr 4:12). Do well and God will do well by you (1 Pt 2:15 “For so is the
will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of
foolish men.”)
No danger can come so near that God is not nearer still…
