Heb 2:1 “Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.”
I’m afraid we’ve all allowed a good thing to slip through our hands before. This is our waning, to take heed to the truth of God’s Word that has come into our lives. The Hebrew Christians were in danger of falling away from such truth. They heard it, but their assent to Christs leadership was insufficient. The good opportunities that have passed by us wasn’t from a lack of hearing or knowledge, but from acting on it. We are exhorted to be diligent, earnest to the Word of God in and for our life. Every day is a good opportunity in God’s Word.
We’ve all faced great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations, heed to the Word of God and you’ll find them… HSAY
