Daily Wisdom

Esther 6:2 “And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. And the king said, what honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this?”

When we do what is right, be assured the Lord will do what’s right by us and for us. When life comes together for good it’s not a coincidence, but providence of the Lord’s faithfulness. While Haman made plans to seek the king’s approval to execute Mordecai (Est 5:14), the Lord was preparing the king’s heart to be just in showing favor towards Mordecai and his deliverance. The Lord is working quietly, patiently, and faithfully in our lives as well. Our need is not to worry about the timing of such events, but to be faithful in the Lord to what is write (2 Kgs 5). It's never wrong to do the right thing, but he who knows the right thing and fails to do it, to him it is sin (Jms 4:17).

Faith is not believing God will do what you want; it’s believing He’ll do what is promised… HSAY
