Daily Wisdom

Est 2:20 “Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with him.”

The Lord allows individuals to come into our lives who bring with them spiritual strengths for our wellbeing. He will bring forth those who through their spiritual gifts can guide us (pastors), teach us (teachers), and encourage us (exhorters). Each of these are vital to our personal and spiritual success. Mordecai was such to Esther. Though she was advanced to the throne, she was still humble and observant of Mordecai. This was evident in her humble and grateful disposition towards him and what he offered her. It’s a great testimony and to our further success to remember the impressions the Lord brings into our lives who have guided us, taught us, and encouraged us in the Lord. Always be humbly willing and quick to take the advice of the Lord’s servants He’s sent your way and be ever thankful for it.

Be thankful for friends, be grateful for those who leave a spiritual footprint on your heart… HSAY
