Daily Wisdom

Zec 14:20-21  "In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD;... Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts:"

Ch. 14 portrays the eventual triumph of the Messiah over all the earth and his (1,000) year reign. In the future, even such common objects as horses' bells and cooking pots will be holy. This vision of a restored, holy Jerusalem stands in contrast to our world today. One day God will fulfill His promises for Jerusalem and His children beyond what we could imagine. The Lord wants to do much more for us than we can imagine (Eph 3:20). As we commit to walk with Him in consent and compliance, we will discover this day by day as His faithfulness fills our souls (Ezra 2:1)

Holiness, not happiness, is the chief end of man (1 Thess 4:7)… HSAY

Daily Wisdom

Zec 13:9  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God

Throughout the history of Israel, whenever the nation turned from God, a righteous remnant still trusted and followed Him. These believers were refined like silver and gold through the fire of their difficult circumstances. Determine to be the part of God's remnant, that small part of the whole that remains committed and faithful to the Lord. This may mean trials and troubles at times; but as fire purifies gold and silver, you will be purified and made to shine in the image of Christ.

Interest and intentions come a go, commitment is consuming and endures the purification process… HSAY
