“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which
cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear.” Heb12:28
Assurance
of an eternal kingdom never comes from looking at ourselves. It comes only as a consequence of looking to
Christ and His grace that we can find our eternal assurance; becoming an anchor
unto our soul expressed in the glorious exchange of our sin for His
righteousness. Assurance blooms forth like a fruit that grows from the root of
faith; not out of arrogance, but in faith; it’s not presumption, but the
promise of God. Don’t allow the persistence of sin to labor in the destruction
of your assurance, live in repentance and acknowledgment of grace that sustains
you in the faithfulness of God (1 Cor 1:1-9).
I
times that you can’t seem to find God, call out and rest in assurance that He
knows how to find you.
