Psa 119:165 “Great
peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”
Modern society longs for peace, joy and happiness of mind.
Here is clear-cut instruction on how to attain this: if we love the Word of
God, and its instruction, we will have “great peace.” Such peace will cause one
“to rejoice at thy word as one that finds
great spoil.” (vs 162)
One becomes susceptible to offenses when they’re not at
peace in their spirit. Hurt people, hurt people; forgiven people, forgive
people.
Point being: The truth only offends those who live outside
of it.
Truth offends everyone outside its definitions. But the
irony of truth is that the greater its potential for offense, the greater its potential
for giving hope, for those who come to love it!
Offense never let you go, you have to let it go… Pro 1:9 “He that covereth a transgression seeketh
love; but, he that repeateth a matter separateth friends.”
