“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for
reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man
of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim 3:16-17
What one aspires to have and what one is inspired to be can
be quite the opposite.
Longing to obtain that which changes circumstances only, and
not one’s character is the difference between aspiration to have and
inspiration to be.
The significance of a man’s life is not what he aspires to
attain, but rather what he’s inspired to be.
Aspiration is of man; Inspiration is of God. One is
externally generated, other is internally stimulated.
The achieve the latter requires steadily deepening one’s
humility in Christ and rising above one’s selfish aspirations to desiring the
Holy Spirits spiritual inspiration in their life.
Worldly success comes by aspiration, spiritual success comes
by inspiration. One changes what you have and the other who you are!
