Heb 12:11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth
to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless, afterward it yieldeth the peaceable
fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
We will always grow greater in character and wisdom through
pain than we will prosperity. And yet man labors and lusts after prosperity
while exerting great effort in avoiding the pain of correction. When
unavoidable we’re prone to accept it with resignation, self-pity or anger. But those
who learn to accept it with gratefulness have grown to learn the blessing it is;
knowing the Father’s love. Correction is the judgement of faith, declaring that
a sanctified affliction at the hand of the Father produces the fruits of
righteousness.
We must allow the Word of God to correct us the same way we
allow it to encourage us…HSAY
